Great people, great value! If you want the most for your money in the Western Wisconsin area, then Oevering is the builder for you!
We just can’t say enough good things about the people we worked with during the build process! Thank you so much to Shari, Emily, and Jeff, as well as everyone else behind the scenes that made our build a successful and enjoyable process! Everyone we worked with was very professional, friendly, positive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, responsive! All of our questions were answered very promptly in great detail and any issue that came up was resolved quickly which made for an exciting, stress free and enjoyable process. Not only were the people at Oevering great to work with during the process, but after the process as well! They treat their customers with very high importance and great respect.
Our home is built well using good materials and good finishes, and some of the included features were quite surprising once we saw the house completed. We were very surprised by their pricing after comparing them with several other builders in the area. You just won’t find a better value in a home in this area! They build great homes that are affordable!
We are excited to be living in our beautiful new home, and are thankful to have had the opportunity to work with such a great group of people!

My brother has owned a house built by Oevering Homes and he absolutely loves it. It was his first home and he is still there several years later.
We hadn’t considered a new construction home until catching wind of some of the local builds in New Richmond and River Falls by Oevering Homes. Recently, I drove over 3 hours to meet with my fiancée to go see one of the models for Oevering Homes. We were so impressed with what we saw that we actually placed an offer on that very house that was shown to us.
A short time later, a kind gal named Suzi Oevering made contact with me and gave me her direct number to reach out to in case we have any questions regarding the home or our experience. We have had a lot of transitions in our lives over the last 12 months and buying from Oevering Homes has been the most exciting part, by far. Then, to have one of the owners reach out to us directly meant a great deal to us. This is classic small town business and I’m truly pleased with our experience. Although I’ve never given a Google review to a company before, this felt like the perfect time to do so.

Had a great experience building with this great company! From start to finish, very informative and great communication with the job supervisor and general management. Prompt with detailed responses of any questions we had. All of the sub contractors do great work and do whatever it takes to keep build on track as well! Would highly recommend Oevering homes to anyone looking to build a new home.
We bought a 2nd house from them!
Built one house with them and it was a very smooth process. When building in general you need to expect a few setbacks, and be open minded. We have had nothing but great experiences with this company.
We bought a 2nd house from them October 2019 in our same neighborhood that was one of their pre-exciting homes. It’s had the normal shifting issues happen but no problems that were unexpected. If we build again we will be going through them.
Oevering Homes did a great job with my new home!
Sheri was easy to work with and always available for any questions, she was quick to respond and helpful throughout the entire process. There were a few hiccups like most construction but was well worth the wait. Once the new PM, Amanda, started it was easier to get things done and timely. I waited a few extra days for it to be completed, definitely worth the wait.
The loan process through Tradition Mortgage was simple, painless and easy to work through. Not my forever home, but overall a good experience. I would work with them again, however I agreed to purchase after the foundation was poured and would love to work with them with layout and design!
I wouldn’t go with anyone else for building a new home!
Oevering Homes builds quality and affordable new homes and has a great staff. You can tell there have been positive changes that have been made as the experience provided was top notch. There were lots of neighborhoods and floor plans to choose with, along with a decent list of selections to pick from. I wouldn’t go with anyone else for building a new home!
Extremely attentive to my needs and concerns!
Oevering has been great!! I was searching for an affordable build and they came through. The staff has been great. Dan Payne was my initial contact and he answered all my questions and helped to get the ball rolling. My building manager Troy was extremely attentive to my needs and concerns and then there was Jen! She was awesome and fun to work with. This was not my first build. With any builder, you will experience issues. It’s how fast they deal with the issues and Oevering was always on top of it. I just finished my first year corrections (nail pops …etc) and they addressed all of my issues. I would highly suggest Oevering and would be glad to speak to anyone looking to build.
Well-built, quiet, and warm!
We’ve been in our new home for about 2 months now and everything has been great. It’s well-built, quiet, and warm! While we signed contracts later on in the building process and received a fairly “stock” build, we love the finishes selected and wouldn’t change most things in the house! This home is honestly how I would have finished off my previous home of 15 years had we not moved to another state!

We moved into our home last month. We LOVE everything about our new home! Working with Emily on selections was an easy, fun & convenient process. She was helpful & knowledgeable. Our project manager Erik has been incredibly helpful, responsive & reliable. We can’t say enough about what a great experience we’ve had!
The very few issues we encountered were corrected timely & satisfactorily (one of our cabinets had a small ding; they replaced it). During our build, we encountered some unique circumstances due to COVID-19, road restrictions, etc. Erik reached out to us proactively to let us know about changes. I feel he worked very hard to ensure our home was complete by our expected closing date. We had no delays despite the changes during these challenging times. I highly recommend Oevering Homes.

Just moved into our custom built home and we couldn't be more happy!
Took a concept drawing of our dream home to several builders and picked Oevering Homes to build it. Why..?…This was our 4th and final time building a home, so we are pretty familiar with the process and know what to look for in a builder.
Our first design sit with Brandon Perry left me very impressed and sold me on them. He had many good suggestions that we hadn’t even thought of. They broke ground March 1st and we moved in August 29th. All builds have a few bumps along the way but, our project manager Troy Keller made sure they were quickly resolved. There was good communication through-out the process. In the end, our concept drawing became a reality thanks to Oevering Homes. I recommend them
Very impressed!
My wife and I just built our first home with Oevering and had a great experience. We initially worked with Dan P. who really helped us through the initial home building process. He was very quick to respond with any questions we had at any time of the day. We really enjoyed working with him and the team throughout the process and it reassured us that we made the right decision to build with Oevering. Two months into our home we found out the sump pump was not hooked up which caused minor flooding in the basement but as soon as we communicated this to the builder they took care of it no questions asked. Very impressed!
The house turned out great!
We had an overall good experience with Oevering homes. Dan helped us choose a layout – they had some pretty models on their website and Jen B. helped us customize to our taste. The house turned out great! We would do business with them again.
